Serta Massage Recliner Review

Were it not for its semi-fancy features, this serta massage recliner would pass for an ordinary home furniture. A closer look, however, would reveal the Serta Big & Tall Memory Foam Massage Recliner is anything but.

As its name suggests, it’s made for bigger and taller folks who love to rest on a chair that offers slight vibration for the back. The massage is nowhere near what robotic massage chairs are offering, but it’s better than nothing at all.

This explains why it comes at a very low price, although the bonded leather–which is another nice way to call a faux leather–also plays a significant role in lowering its cost.



Longest Ride Thanks To The Best Running Shoes

56k20131I have signed up to run the longest race of my life in January 2013, the Goofy Race and Half Challenge.  The Goofy as we call it, requires that I run 39.3 miles over 2 days and while I am totally stoked about possibly receiving the wonderful medals shown below; I am scared to death of the journey that will take me there.


Because I am really, really nervous about training for my first full marathon, I decided to put my training journey out there for the world to see to both keep me on pace and hopefully enlist some advice and support from the wonderful community of running and runDisney enthusiasts in the virtual world.  So here goes…

How I Arrived

I began training with Jeff Galloway Training in 2011 to run my first half marathon.  Being a huge Disney fan, I chose to run my first race with runDisney and the rest is history.  I was in love from the moment I arrived for the event and made it my goal to run each of the Disney events at least once in my lifetime. This time I got top running shoes thanks to recommendations from workout gear lab.

Since the Walt Disney World Marathon will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2013 and will offer a commemorative medal, I decided that this is the year to go for the Mickey medal.  And since I’m going to attempt to run the full, some very experienced runners convinced me …
